Pedro focuses his practice on the resolution of international disputes, with a primary emphasis on international arbitration and international law. His academic and professional background has allowed him to develop a comprehensive profile that combines strategic legal analysis with the representation of parties in disputes related to international contracts and corporate responsibility in human rights matters.

Before joining Benavides Mejía Dispute Resolution, he worked on international human rights litigation as well as business and human rights matters in an international law firm. He participated in cases before the Inter-American Human Rights System and the United Nations Human Rights Protection System. He also completed an internship at a firm in Colombia, where he contributed to international arbitration proceedings under ICC rules, analyzing regulatory frameworks from various Latin American jurisdictions and supporting procedural strategy in transnational disputes.

In the academic field, he has been a teaching assistant for the Public International Law course at Universidad de Los Andes. Furthermore, he has represented Universidad de Los Andes in international competitions such as the Inter-American Human Rights Moot Court Competition and the CCB Corporate Law Moot Court Competition.
